Six month initial re-branding project, plus ongoing management.
Wall Bros Ltd Managing Partner, Ashley Horne
We carefully developed new branding to reflect the local status of Wall Bros as a well respected market leader - yet also move the company on for the years ahead. The branding was then taken across every aspect of the business in a phased approach to manage costs
We designed and built a new website in WordPress which covered product information and location and contact info for both stores. It also introduced Wall Bros to blogging - which we now also write and manage for them.
We sourced and then worked with locally based signage firms to get the outdated Wall Bros shops redone with the new branding. We designed window vinyls, shop signs and A-board artwork.
Wall Bros was already on facebook, we now manage this and have built up a loyal local following. We also put them on Google my Business, twitter and the Directors on LinkedIn. We now manage all of it for them, taking care to remain professional yet also personable and helpful.
Wall Bros had an outdated radio advertising campaign that had just been left to run. We worked with the local station to revitalise the campaign, writing a new script and coming up with a new tagline as well as getting them involved in relevant community sponsorship opportunities too.
Wall Bros had allowed individual magazines to design advertising for them for years, resulting in no cohesion of brand or message. We designed new advertising that incorporated the new branding and then met with each magazine publisher to negotiate best prices and book campaigns for the year ahead.
We applied the new branding to the company uniforms and worked with a specialist supplier to get new shirts and jumpers for all the staff in both shops.
We took photographs of the newly refurbished stores and staff in their new uniforms and have been using them on all the new marketing material, website and social feeds ever since.
We designed and produced stationery, fliers, pop-ups, vinyl banners, event invites and posters for Wall Bros. These have been used at exhibitions, charity events as well as in store.
To celebrate their 60th anniversary, Wall Bros wanted some branded items to give to customers. We worked with trusted suppliers to find high quality pens and powerbanks and designed and supplied all the artwork for them too.
We helped Wall Bros to win two local business awards in different categories for two consecutive years. See more below!
Wall Bros wanted to hold a small celebration for a select few in their store in Worthing. We designed invites, organised some media coverage and filmed the event highlights - which we then posted out on their social feeds.
When we suggested to Wall Bros that they could win an award they didn’t believe us, but we persevered and they agreed to enter the Adur & Worthing Business Awards. We drafted two entries and ran a campaign for support with customers which resulted in one highly commended and one WIN – for Adur and Worthing Best Small Business 2017.
The following year, they wanted to win the Customer Service category. This was a much harder task, where we had to be innovative with the entry, but we worked hard and are extremely proud to say they won!
Wall Bros is a well established retailer based in Worthing and Storrington. The company had no marketing strategy and the branding had not been redesigned for over 20 years and had become a mish-mash of vaguely similar logos that were not applied properly to anything. We were approached to help the company bring its image up to date and also to reflect a 60 year history.
We started with the branding, using classic grey and silver tones in modern fonts to offer a complete break from the old blue and white colours they had been using. The new logo was then applied to every part of the business and designed into online and offline marketing collateral including website, social media, flyers, print advertising, uniforms and shop front signage.
We then planned a steady marketing strategy that included a new print advertising campaign in local publications, award entry research and writing.
